We would like to share with our supporters two exciting new board opportunities; for Tennis Australia and for the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Australian subsidiary of an international payments company.

The Call for Nominations for Tennis Australia is below - given TA's commitment to diversity we have been asked to distribute this to the ALBEI contact list. This will be great for those tennis lovers and players in the ALBEI network. Please submit your nominations to Tennis Australia directly - the deadline is 4th August 2026.

As part of a board which I (Mark Baxter) have recently joined we are also seeking expressions of interest for an experienced non‑executive director to join the board of the Australian subsidiary of a fast‑growing global fintech focused on real‑time, cross‑border payments.

This role will be appointed to the Australian board as Chair of the Audit Committee, working alongside me as Chair of the Risk Committee to strengthen financial oversight, support APRA‑facing prudential obligations and help scale a modern payments platform that combines strong governance with innovative infrastructure.

You will bring board‑level audit and/or risk committee experience in financial services, comfort engaging with regulators, and an interest in how modern payments infrastructure can support inclusive, efficient and resilient financial systems.

For further details on the payments company opportunity , please contact inquiries@albei.org.

Please share this with anyone you know who may be ideal.
